Happy Dumpling festival!

Next Wednesday, it’s the Duan Wu Festival (Dumpling Festival), The festival falls on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month to commemorate Qu Yuan, a chinese poet who drowned himself to protect against corrupt practices in China over 1,000 years ago. The people started to drop sticky glutinous rice triangles wrapped in bamboo leaves into the river to feed the fish to prevent fish from eating on his corpse.

Sometimes, people might ask “As a vegetarian, can you also enjoy the dumpling festival?” “What type of dumpling you are enjoying?”

There is no issue at all, we can celebrate all festival with the same traditional cuisine with NO MEAT only.

We bought the vegetarian dumpling… Check it out.
