Every morning, I wake up at 5:00 am to prepare healthy breakfast for my family and also bento lunch for sister and I. The motivation behind is I always remember that volunteers in monastery are wake up earlier than this time to cook for all people in monastery. I am also working like the little volunteer at home to ensure my family members can have a healthy organic vegetarian diet.
Sometimes, I’ll cook slightly more to share with my colleagues to cultivate healthy and simple eating. We don’t need amazing cooking skill, most important is your happiness, kindness and love when you put in during your cooking. Besides, the ingredients you are using, ideally please use organic as you can taste the natural and sweetness of original food. Moreover, you don’t need to use a lot of seasoning or sauces when cooking as you can actually taste the sweetness and yummy of natural food.
Recently, I love the cook quinoa, the world healthiest food, full of nutrient, easy to prepare and yummy to eat.
I’ll soak the organic quinoa for overnight, then only start to cook with rice cooker, to be more nutrient and yummy, its best if we can add in organic vegetables soup which you can prepare in advance and put in freezer.
Cooking, it’s all depend on your creativity. This round, I am preparing the Portobello mushroom with black pepper and organic parsley. Of course, I included stir fry of organic cauliflower, organic asparagus, organic carrot, organic sweet corn, organic red chlli and usually we need to add in organic ginger when we cook vegetables to have a good balance of nutrient.
