How do you treat yourself? Are you taking good care of your body? Are you feeding yourself with good quality and nutrition food?
If you are not treating your body well, feed it with right food, do you think that you love yourself well? If you don’t start to love yourself, how are you going to spread loving-kindness to people surrounding? Our precious body is the most precious gift. Why not pay attention? Learn as much as possible to provide right nutrient to our body and mind.
Sometimes, when I observe people who are high-ranking, earn high salary and yet they “torture” their body by just providing junk food or sometimes in the name of “Busy”, they are totally ignored to feed their body. Why are we trading our health for wealth? What is the usage of wealth when we are sick? To pay for expensive medical fees and continuously to intake “toxins and poison” to our body. Is it the true meaning of life?
Some of us, in the excuse of “rushing”, “hurry”, “busy”, we might only take food at the roadside stall which full of dust and low in nutrient. We just want to ensure our stomach is full without taking consideration that we are feeding “poison” to our stomach. Besides, some of us love to reheat frozen food by using microwave, think about it, we might save some time yet how much damage we are bringing to our health. We might not see the health deterioration immediately, however, if we are continue our unhealthy eating habit, for sure, our body will fall sick. Hopefully, it’s not too late to transform our diet when we are sick.
Why not love yourself more by reading how is good for your body and spend some time to prepare the good nutrient which can enrich your body and mind? Your effort is worth it, “Health is wealth”.
Everyday, I’ll pay attention to prepare my home-cooked meal, I treasure the most for home-cooked food, the best source of nutrient. I try my very best to reduce dine-out to avoid any intake of “unhealthy substances” and “toxins” in my body.
